WHY CHOOSE MASTER’S ACADEMY?
Master’s Academy was established upon a Biblical worldview: God is the Creator and sustainer of the universe and the Source and essence of all goodness and truth. We believe each student is uniquely created and distinctly gifted. Master’s Academy uses The Principle Approach®, America’s historic Christian method of Biblical reasoning, which makes the truth of God’s Word the basis of every subject. We are committed to academic excellence, developing the spiritual stature of our students, character development, and cultivation of leadership skills for service in the next generation.
True Christian character is a thing of great beauty and value. Character development brings to bear the discipline and conviction of Christian self-government. We design classroom procedures, teaching methods, policies, discipline techniques, athletic programs, and dress code with this goal in mind. Our curriculum is filled with models of great character which inspire and offer vision to our students.
It is our goal for students to graduate with the knowledge of Christ as Savior and be academically prepared for the plans God has for their lives. We encourage the partnership of a community of parents unified by these common Christian values and principles for mutual support.
Our Mission: “To spiritually and academically develop each student to impact the world.”
What is the Principle Approach®?
The Principle Approach® is America’s historic Christian method of Biblical reasoning which makes the Truths of God’s Word the basis of every subject in the school curriculum.
What is the NOAH Plan®?
The NOAH Plan® is the curriculum established upon the understanding of America’s Christian History and God’s providence within that history, based on the Principle Approach®, which lays God and His Word as the foundation of all subjects.
Why do we insist on an “outdated” dictionary?
We use Noah Webster’s 1828 dictionary because Noah Webster is the father of American Christian Education.
What are the 4 R’s, and why are they important?
Research, Reason, Relate, Record – Using this methodology, students become producers rather than consumers. Students become reflective learners; causes the student to call upon the internal principle for the external application.
What are the seven principles of America’s Christian History and Government?
Our logo has the motto “Veritas et Lux,” Latin for “Truth and Light.” The Word of God is the Truth and Jesus Christ is the Light of the World. We seek to acknowledge this Source of truth and light, the source of liberty and of all excellence.
The notebook approach is the classical method of mastering a subject. Notebooks are used daily to record the learning of the subject and are set up and graded according to an established standard.
