'Whatever' You Do

At Master’s Academy our school verse is Colossians 3:17 - “And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.” The Greek word for ‘whatever’ simply means “everything in totality.” This is a part of the WHAT in which we believe a Biblical worldview will move beyond Biblical integration and be immersed in Christian education.

The other day a new student to our school, over 100 new students this year, with tears on their face, boldly shared in class, “I am new this year, and I am just learning about who God is.” This is the Why!

If everything we do or say involves the What about God, and the grace and mercy He provides through Jesus Christ His Son, students will begin to experience God at Master’s Academy in new ways each day. When students are “transformed by the renewing of their minds”, their character and morals will begin to be shaped by the “radiance of God’s Glory” - Christ Jesus. In “whatever they do, in word or deed”, they will learn to do it in the name of Jesus Christ. As we strive to IMPACT students to love God more every day, we are confident, through the Holy Spirit, our students will grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and will be prepared to IMPACT their world for Christ!
